Who we are

An energy specialist born in the Gulf, trusted across asset classes.

Green Metrics Energy Solutions LLC is an independent energy-efficiency and decarbonisation firm headquartered in Dubai, licensed to operate across the UAE and supporting portfolio owners and operators in the wider GCC and Europe.

Founded in 2021, Green Metrics sits at the intersection of engineering, data and finance. We are not a generalist consultant – our sole focus is on the performance of built assets and the decarbonisation of the real estate and infrastructure that people actually use every day.

Our team brings together senior energy engineers, data analysts and former asset managers who speak the language of NOI, IRR and capex as fluently as kWh, TR and CO₂e. We support clients from feasibility through detailed design, implementation oversight, measurement & verification, and ongoing optimisation.

We combine conservative engineering with a sophisticated understanding of how investors, lenders and regulators assess climate-related risk, so that every kWh saved is also a better story to tell to banks, boards and rating agencies.

Scale
7.8M m² under advisory across commercial, industrial and hospitality assets.
Team
Core team of 18 specialists supported by a vetted network of implementation partners.
2021 – 2022

2023 – 2025
ESG and decarbonisation roadmaps integrated into financial models. Support to European family offices acquiring UAE assets and aligning with EU taxonomy.
Today
Advisory on large-scale retrofits, energy performance contracting, and net-zero pathways for cross-border portfolios spanning the UAE, KSA, France and Italy.
What we do

From audit to execution, we design and defend the energy case.

We combine technical depth with board-level storytelling. Our services are organised around three pillars that mirror how sophisticated owners actually make energy decisions.

Pillar I · Diagnostics

Energy & Carbon Strategy

Establishing baselines, identifying pathways, and quantifying what “net-zero ready” really means for each asset.
  • Investment-grade energy audits & detailed walkthroughs
  • Building and portfolio-level decarbonisation roadmaps
  • Scenario modelling for energy price and carbon cost volatility
  • Energy performance benchmarking vs. peers and codes
Pillar II · Design & Delivery

Retrofit & Performance Projects

Detailed design and owners’ engineering for upgrades that have to work the first time – and keep working.
  • Retrofit concept design & capex prioritisation
  • Technical specs for HVAC, lighting & controls upgrades
  • Owners’ engineer role during implementation
  • Measurement & Verification (IPMVP-aligned)
Pillar III · Finance & Reporting

ESG, Green Finance & Reporting

Turning energy performance into something banks, boards and rating agencies can underwrite.
  • Support for green loans, sustainability-linked loans & bonds
  • Climate risk and energy sections of due diligence reports
  • Support with GHG inventories (Scopes 1, 2 and key Scope 3)
  • Asset- and portfolio-level ESG dashboards & policies
Clients & counterparties

Trusted by owners, operators, lenders and suppliers across the value chain.

We work directly with asset owners and as a specialist partner to facilities management companies, ESCOs, developers and international advisors.

Selected clients & asset managers

Our experience spans government entities, listed developers, hospitality groups, industrial operators and international investors.

Result: 26% energy reduction, 3.2-year payback, improved comfort complaints index by 18%.
  • Hospitality decarbonisation roadmap – UAE coastal portfolio
Scope: 7 hotels & resorts – strategy, capex roadmap, financing support for green loan.
Result: –31% projected CO₂e by 2030 relative to 2019 baseline, loan margin reduction achieved.
  • Industrial chilled water optimisation – GCC manufacturing campus
Scope: Process cooling and compressed air optimisation across 3 plants.
Result: 18% energy savings, improved resilience and redundancy, payback under 2.7 years.
  • ESG upgrade for cross-border portfolio – UAE / France / Italy
Scope: Data model, decarbonisation plan and ESG reporting for a European family office.
Result: Portfolio aligned with lenders’ climate expectations, enhanced exit narrative for future disposals.
Sustainability & impact

We treat each kilowatt-hour as data – and each project as a balance sheet event.

Our approach to sustainability is grounded in engineering realities and financial discipline. We focus on verified performance, not just labels.

Impact metrics we track with our clients

Energy intensity reduction vs. baseline 32% average
Share of portfolio covered by live metering 74%
Projects with performance-linked contracts 61%
  • IPMVP-aligned M&V
  • Science-based targets support
  • Grid emissions factor sensitivity
  • ESG policy drafting
  • Climate risk narratives for lenders

How we work with suppliers and partners

We are technology-agnostic. We do not sell equipment. Instead, we maintain a curated ecosystem of OEMs, integrators and FM providers that we benchmark constantly.

Our network includes long-term relationships with suppliers in HVAC, controls, lighting, metering and analytics. This allows us to match the right solution to each asset’s operational reality – rather than optimising around a single product catalogue.

  • Chiller OEMs & plant optimisation specialists
  • BMS & controls integrators
  • LED & lighting control suppliers
  • Sub-metering & IoT sensor platforms
  • Regional FM & ESCO partners
